Garlic Parmesan Crockpot Chicken and Potatoes is a cozy, hands-free meal of tender chicken and buttery potatoes in a savory garlic-Parmesan sauce — perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved or quartered

  • 46 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pieces

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: ¼ cup heavy cream or 2 oz cream cheese

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then place on top.

  2. Sprinkle garlic and Italian seasoning over everything.

  3. Dot with butter, pour in broth, and sprinkle Parmesan.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW 6–7 hours or HIGH 3.5–4 hours.

  5. Optional: Stir in cream or cream cheese in the last 30 minutes.

  6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
