Juicy glazed chicken coated in a honey garlic butter sauce, served over creamy, high-protein mac & cheese. A comfort food favorite made to fuel your day.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts

  • Salt & pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

For the Mac & Cheese:

  • 8 oz high-protein pasta

  • ¾ cup low-fat milk

  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar

  • Salt & pepper

  • Optional: 1 tbsp nutritional yeast or 1 scoop unflavored protein powder

Instructions

  1. Season and sear chicken in olive oil until golden and cooked through.

  2. In same pan, melt butter, add garlic, then stir in honey and soy sauce. Simmer to thicken.

  3. Return chicken to pan and coat with sauce.

  4. Cook pasta, then stir in milk, yogurt, cheese, and seasonings to make the mac.

  5. Plate mac & cheese, top with glazed chicken, and drizzle with sauce.

Notes

  • Swap chicken thighs for breasts for leaner option.

  • Stir in spinach or broccoli for added greens.

  • Use chickpea or lentil pasta for more fiber.
