A sweet, savory, and ultra-fast Korean-inspired ground beef bowl served over rice. A 20-minute dinner perfect for busy weeknights.
1 lb lean ground beef
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
2–3 tbsp brown sugar (to taste)
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
2–3 green onions, sliced
1 tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
Cooked rice, for serving
Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
Spoon over cooked rice and top with green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve with steamed veggies or a fried egg.

Freeze cooked beef for up to 3 months.
